چکیده
While antigen-inexperienced (naive) T cells appear to require constant tickling of their receptor by self-antigens for homeostasis, antigen-experienced (memory) T cells have no such requirement. An implication is that long-term T-cell memory does not depend on persisting antigen.

P28: The Effects of Omega-3 and 6 Fatty Acids on Hippocampus and Learning
One of the most nervous system evolution are memory and learning in humans. Learning is a skill that enhances synaptic activity in the hippocampus of prefrontal cortex. In fact, basic passive learning is communication between the conditioned and Unconditioned stimulation. Passive learning involves three steps: habit, education and remember. According to the results of investigations, the hippoc...
متن کاملRemembering to Remember: An Examination of the Cognitive Processes Underlying Prospective Memory
Successfully fulfilling intentions is a problem central to goal-directed behavior, and although there are many reasons why individuals succeed or fail in attaining their goals (e.g., motivation, practicality, or opportunity), even the best intentions are likely to fail if we forget to perform intended actions at appropriate times. This highlights the need for good prospective memory, or remembe...
متن کاملMood-dependent memory.

As expected, significant correlations indicate tha...
متن کامل"Do you remember what you did on March 13, 1985?" A case study of confabulatory hypermnesia.
We report on a patient, LM, with a Korsakoff's syndrome who showed the unusual tendency to consistently provide a confabulatory answer to episodic memory questions for which the predicted and most frequently observed response in normal subjects and in confabulators is "I don't know". LM's pattern of confabulation, which we refer to as confabulatory hypermnesia, cannot be traced back to any more...
